I’m Sarah, an independent, mobile saddle fitter based in Port Orchard, Washington. My approach considers the horse, saddle and rider as a whole, combining anatomy, biomechanics and movement to assess how the saddle truly performs in motion.
Whether we are evaluating a saddle you already own or exploring new saddle options, you can expect a thorough and practical approach. No two horses or riders are the same, and saddle fitting shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all either.
My goal is simple: to help you make informed decisions so you and your horse can move forward comfortably and confidently.

Saddle fitting is the process of evaluating how the horse, saddle and rider work together, with the goal of creating a balanced and functional setup that supports the horse in motion.

I assess your horse’s anatomy, back and movement, followed by the saddle both statically and in motion.
This allows me to evaluate how the horse, saddle and rider work together and determine the most practical next steps.
Do you sell saddles?
Yes. I carry a selected range of new saddles that can be trialed during a fitting.
Recommendations are based on your horse, rider and riding goals, rather than one particular brand.
Why choose an independent fitter?
As an independent fitter, I work with multiple brands and different tree systems, including fixed, semi-adjustable, and flexible trees.
This allows me to focus on what works best for the individual horse and rider, rather than one specific saddle brand.
